DENGUE WATCH!!!

Among the objectives of LCIF are to promote a healthy environment and ensure the welfare of the youth. For still unknown reasons, the country is now facing serious threat from a deadly mosquito-borne disease called Dengue Fever. In this connection, DG Val Tio issued Circular No. 017 (2005-2006) to encourage all Clubs, particularly those in Valenzuela City to launch projects designed to control the spread of dengue. The most effective solutions being cleaning of canals/esteros, remove stagnant water, fogging and lecture on proper hygiene and cleanliness.

Accordingly, the Rating Board shall allot extra points to Clubs rendering said projects. Reports should be accompanied with photographs of Lions in action.
